Joy!!!

I called the company where my prescriptions get filled via mail order and asked if the one that got sent to them earlier this week from my doctor could be transferred to our local pharmacy.  They are the same company.  He informed me it had already been filled and shipped and told me it was in Columbus as of yesterday.  He did tell me the prescriptions can be transferred no problem.  I thanked him for his time and he told me I was the happiest sounding person he has talked to in a long time!  I laughed and told him about my miraculous May 11th day.  He told me the joy in my voice is enough for a non believer to believe in God!!!  He told me he was glad he got to talk to me.  I have so much love in my heart and I am so elated that others can actually HEAR how happy I am!!!

Jesus Pumpkin

With Halloween approaching, here is a different way to look at it.  I loved doing this lesson when I taught Junior Church!!!
I am very blessed to have a dear friend who is a fantastic artist!!!  Several years ago I was trying to draw a picture of Jesus's face so I could carve it on a pumpkin for a very special lesson in Junior Church.  I used to enjoy carving special pumpkins like a cat's face, house, Welcome, etc,  Now, I have blurry and dbl vision a lot.  I didn't carve any pumpkins for the last 4 years and I won't be carving any this year either.
My friend asked me what I was trying to draw.  We were working at the time.  I told her I was trying to draw Jesus but I wasn't doing very good.  She took my paper and pencil and within a matter of a few minutes, she was done!  What a beautiful picture!!!  I then made the lines thicker so I could use it as a pattern to carve the pumpkin.  I was so excited! The last Saturday of October,  I cut the top off of the pumpkin, dug out the seeds, and put them in a plastic bag to save for the lesson.  Next, I transferred the pattern to the pumpkin and started carving.  It took me over 4 hours to carve but it was worth it!!!  I placed a candle in the bottom, a lighter, and put the bag with the seeds inside. 
On Sunday, I sat the pumpkin with the back facing the kids on the table.  Lesson time!  I told how when we are born, we are all born with sin just like a pumpkin has the "yucky stuff" (the stringy pulp and seeds) inside.  I then used my hands and scooped out the pumpkin pulp and seeds and placed them on a newspaper so they could see.  Some of them said. "Eeeeewww!"  lol  Without them seeing, I took out the plastic bag and light the candle.   I then told them all we have to do is ask God to forgive us of our sins and ask Jesus into our hearts and we will have his light in us forever!!!  I then turned the pumpkin around and they could see Jesus's face lit up!!!  They loved it!!!

Pennies From Heaven

Whenever my heart feels heavy about something whether it be about my family, friends, finances, the world, or physical well being , which periodically happens, I'll look down and there will be a penny or several pennies...They are my pennies from Heaven and my heart is instantly lifted up!!!  Whenever you find a penny or pennies, they are sent from someone in Heaven who is watching over you.  I found 4 pennies yesterday!  Yes, I have been very stressed the last few days but not now!  If you are ever stressed, may you find all the pennies you need to help you through it!!!

Turmoil In America

I wasn't going to write about this, but the urgent feeling for me to do it won't leave me.  It is about the Turmoil In America that I am sensing.  My heart has been feeling very heavy with the implementation of Obamacare.  People have told me how their hours have been cut and or benefits lost since Oct 1, 2013.  Most people I know can't afford to pay their regular bills such as electric and gas let alone being FORCED to pay for insurance.  If they don't pay for insurance, they are going to get fined.  Hhhhmmmm, they can't pay for insurance and then the government is going to fine them too?  How does that work?   Before anyone wants to jump on the racist bandwagon and say I am racist, I am by far NOT!!!  I have some very close friends who are not Caucasian.  Our government is shutdown right now because Congress and the President won't compromise.  The world is still turning!!!  I actually knew this day would come.  It has nothing to do with who is President.  It has everything to do with pushing God out of everything and the constant fighting and bickering!!!  We are supposed to love and help one another!!! 
May God have mercy on this nation!!!
