Heart Momitor Again & Get Better Soon Mom!!

I had an appointment with my cardiologist today.  He prescribed me to wear a heart monitor again.  The last time it showed I was having problems and I am feeling the same way again. 
My Mom is in the hospital.  She has pneumonia, water in her lungs, and Influenza Type B.  She got the flu vaccine but there is a different strain going around.  She is so sick!!  She was so worried she will be in the hospital for Christmas and we are all telling her not to worry about it to just get better soon!!  If she is still in there, we are making Christmas dinner and taking it to her.  I love her so very much!!

RIP Johnny!!

My mom's cousin, Johnny, passed away yesterday.  He was a fabulous person who always saw the good in people and always smiled and was light hearted.  He was just like his father.  He will be missed a lot by many people.  We didn't get to see him often because he lived in a different state but whenever we did, it was like we were never separated.  RIP Johnny!!!  You will be in our hearts forever!!

Hospital Again

I had to go to the emergency room again.  I went to Urgent Care first and they told me to go there since I fell in their parking lot.  The emergency room doctor was very nice.  He said I have a cervical sprain and a bad urinary tract infection (UTI).  He gave me some pain medication and muscle relaxers for my neck, shoulder, and back pain  and he gave me an antibiotic and 200mg Phenazopyridine for the UTI.  I have never had Phenazopyridine before.  It is a dye that coats the urinary tract and it is very effective!!  The doctor told me it would make my urine orange and it does.  lol  The staff at the hospital couldn't believe how I was smiling.  I told them no matter how much pain I am in, I try to smile!  They smiled back and told me I am a very positive and inspirational person and I have the best smile they have ever seen!  I can't think of a better compliment!
After the hospital, I had my son take me to the grocery store for some cranberry-grape juice.  He was so sweet and went in for me.  While he was in there, I saw 2 guys headed towards the store.  This kitten ran up to them.  1 of them picked her up.  A few minutes later, they put her down and went into the store.  She followed them in!  Lol  The store doors couldn't close fast enough and she made it back inside.  They put her in a shopping cart and then went shopping. I went into the store and found them and asked them if they are going to keep her.  They said YES!!  I was so happy!!  She is a gorgeous kitten.  Her coat is grayish-brown and white and she has the prettiest green eyes.  I clipped her toenails for them.  They were in front of us in traffic and we could seen the kitten on the dash of their truck.  Another amazing example that there ARE GOOD people in this world!!
Next week is going to be very busy.  I have an appointment with my cardiologist on Monday and I will be having an MRI on my neck and lower back on Friday.  Christmas is next week and I am excited about seeing all the relatives.  I want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Very Blessed New Year!!!

What A Day!!

Yesterday I was in the hospital 2 times. Yes, that isn't a typo. Lol  I woke up feeling like my heart was racing and I felt it was going to jump out of my chest. My head was throbbing too. I have a blood pressure cuff and it read that my bp was 151/107 and my pulse was 104. After over an hour of feeling like that, I called my cardiologist. They told me to get to the ER asap. My youngest son was so sweet! He took me to the hospital. I told him to leave & I would let him know when I was done. The dr ordered meds to get my bp down. About 2 hours later it started coming down but I still had the pounding headache so the dr ordered a CT scan of my head and more meds. They did the CT scan to make sure none of my cerebral aneurysms were leaking. It came back ok. They dismissed me and the nurse asked me if I needed a wheelchair & I told her No.  My son came out to pick me up. There is a divider in the parking lot with a sidewalk around it. We were walking down the sidewalk and my right foot came down on the edge of it and I fell hard on my left knee, left hip, and left elbow. I instantly grabbed my knee and then I heard voices all around me. I opened my eyes and there were I think 5 strangers there to help me! 1 of them ran inside the hospital and told them I fell and 2 nurses brought out a wheelchair. Since I was holding my knee, 1 of them got on the radio for them to bring out a stretcher. Between 2 of the strangers and nurses, they picked me up and got me on the stretcher. The staff asked me if I was just in there and I said Yes but I missed them so much I had to come back! Lol  When the dr saw me, he was laughing and said I was the worse case of missing someone he has ever seen. He ordered an x-ray and the nurse cleaned up my knee and bandaged it up. The x-ray came back ok and I was dismissed again but this time the nurse said there was no way I was Walking out of there! I was going out in a wheelchair. I made it home thanks to the help of some fabulous strangers, the staff at the hospital, and my loving son!!! Yesterday was a perfect example of how there ARE FABULOUS people out there and I am EXTREMELY BLESSED to have a lot of them in my life!!! Biopsy Done

I saw my OB/GYN today and he done the biopsy on my cervix.  It hurt but not because he was cutting, I have had severe pelvic pain for over a month.  He wants to eventually do a hysterectomy.  I  will find out the results in 2 weeks.
I had to go to the bank to have some papers faxed to my insurance company because their specialists do not understand what Meniere's Disease is and all of the other things I have been diagnosed with.  The Myoclonus Seizures are getting worse.  My hands and legs shake uncontrollably almost every day.  I have no warning when it will happen.  I am dizzy every day to the point I have to lay down.  They have cancelled my long term disability payments.  When I stepped  out of the door at the bank, I forgot there is a step down.  I fell and my right hand got cut because it got tangled in the door handle.  The manager of the bank ran outside to me and was very concerned.  He asked me if I was ok and I told him about my hand and he asked if I needed medical attention.  I told him no and he said if I feel pain from the fall later to please call him and he will make sure I receive medical attention!  How sweet is that!!  I asked him if I could please give him a hug for being so caring and he said sure.  :)
I am still smiling because I KNOW God will take care of things in His way!!!  Have a very blessed day everyone (even those who don't like me)!!!  Please remember:  YOU ARE LOVED SO VERY MUCH!!!

Pearl Harbor

It is 28 degrees right now and the wind is blowing so hard again.  They are predicting snow soon.  Maybe we will get a snowman built this year....I don't think it is going to happen.  lol

RIP Daphne!!!

Yesterday was a very emotional day for me.  Daphne passed away yesterday morning!!!  Her step mom and my best friend, Meg, had passed away 5 months ago.  Daphne was only 17.
I found out yesterday that I have precancerous cells.  I had a Pap smear a couple weeks ago and they showed up on that.  The doctor is doing a procedure on December 15 to scrap some of the cells off so more tests can be done on them.  I am not afraid of dying because I know what it is like.  God's NEVER ending love is the most fantastic love I have EVER felt!!!   It is so beautiful there too!!!
Please everyone be NICE to each other!!!  We are to LOVE one another and work WITH each other not the other way around!!!  No one knows when their last day on earth will be so please make the BEST of it!!!  Many blessings and lots of love to ALL of you!!!

Plastic Bubble

I need to be placed in a plastic bubble.  lol   I had to go to Urgent Care today because Kyle and I have been sick since Thanksgiving.  I am thankful I didn't have to cook but the doctor thinks we have food poisoning.  Kyle is getting better without going to the doctor.  Aaaawww to be young again!  This is the second time I have had food poisoning.  The first time was many years ago and it lasted over 2 weeks.  I hope this doesn't last that long.
I can't believe it is December already.  22 more days and Christmas will be here.  I love the holidays...not for presents but for the time to see family and friends!  This Christmas will be the hardest one I have ever had.  I have lost so many people I loved.  I watched "A Walk To Remember" tonight.  I think it is an inspiring movie about how love can change a person for the better.  I cry at the ending every time I watch it.

Crazy Weather

The weather has been so crazy the last few days!  It has been in the 60's and then it gets cold!  They are predicting snow again in a few days just in tome for Thanksgiving.
I was in the Emergency Room last night due to a severe asthma attack.  I was scared because I could breath normally.  I wasn't scared when I had my crainiotomy.  
I am eating some Lay's Classic Potato Chips right now and my cat PK is helping.  She is my junk food kitty.  lol

Funeral Arrangements

I got my funeral arrangements done this morning.  The funeral home director was so helpful and super nice!!!  He made the arrangements so easy and I was very comfortable doing it.  I have all of my plans like I want them and they are going to put in my obituary for people to dress comfortably just like I want.  It is a relief to have it planned.  Now to pay for it.  lol
Gasoline prices today in our small town is $2.62 a gallon!  It has been under $3.00 a gallon for a few weeks.  It can stay that low from now on.  lol
The temperature is 27F without the wind chill.  I am very thankful I don't have to cut wood to stay warm.  I have a furnace, electric heater, lots of blankets and of course the cats love to cuddle.

Snow And Cold Temperatures

We had our first snow that had some accumulation instead of a dusting.  It is windy and the temperature is 0 F with the wind chill.  School was cancelled today.  My friends in Australia tell me they are having 100F weather.  Funny how our temperatures can be so different.

Headaches

I have been having severe headaches off and on for the past month.  I just called my neurosurgeon and they told me I am due to have another cerebral angiogram in January.  Oh, how I dread that test!!!  They told me to call the radiologist's office and see if they want to do it sooner and depending on the result of the test will determine if I need to have another surgery on my aneurysm(s).
I went to the funeral home last night for visitation for my friend's husband.  I hugged her and told her he is feeling God's NEVER ending love and she nodded and said Yes!  I met some people I used to work with and told them my story and received lots of hugs!  I am glad I can give comfort to so many people!  I talked to 1 of the funeral directors and made an appointment to make my funeral arrangements.  I am an organ and tissue donor.  I want to be cremated and have people make a donation to their favorite charity instead of flowers, throws, ceramics, ect.  There will be a viewing for 1 day and I want people to dress comfortably even if it is wearing their pajamas!  The urn can be buried at the foot of my mother's burial plot.  I don't want a headstone.  I never wanted anything fancy.  The only things I want in life is to be happy and be loved!!!  I have those!!!
It is lightly snowing and getting colder.  I do love to snuggle under my blankets!

RIP Jeff!!! Veteran's Day

On Sunday, one of my friends' husband passed away after a tree fell on him.  My heart breaks for her and her family and their friends.
Today is Veteran's Day.  It is a time for us to reflect on those who have served and continue to serve in the military.  God bless ALL of them!!!
A Polar Vortex is moving in tonight.  Time to hide under lots of blankets and cuddle with my fur babies.  Please take care everyone and lots of blessings to ALL of you.   Remember....YOU ARE LOVED SO VERY MUCH!!!

RIP Jolly!!!

Last night my mother-in-law's cousin Jolly passed away.  He received a call late at night to go help someone so Jolly being Jolly went to help.  He was always willing to help anyone any time .  On his way home, he was able to pull his truck over without an accident.  A gentleman had seen his truck pulled over on his way to work and on his way home, he noticed his truck was still there.  He walked up to the truck and noticed Jolly was slumped over.  The truck was still running and in drive!!!  It is a miracle that his foot stayed on the brake and the truck didn't move!!!   His heart monitor was saying, "Please resuscitate".    The gentleman called 911 but it was too late.  We had just seen him Wednesday at the hospital.  He was getting some tests done and we were there to see another relative whose appendix had ruptured.  Jolly was laughing like he always does and lightened up the room.  Our other relative made it through surgery but is very sore.  He is still in the hospital.
Please remember dear friends to tell those around you that you love them and forgive them.  You never know if it is the last day you will see them.  Many blessings and lots of love to ALL of you!!!

Live Like You Were Dying

The song "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw just played on the radio.  After everything I have been through, not just physically but emotionally (losing some people who were very dear in my heart), I try to live every day as if it were my last day.  None of us know when our last day will be.  I pray you all have the peace and love in your hearts that I have in mine!!  
I had to go to the hospital today for some blood work and while I was walking, everyone I passed, I said Hi and smiled to them.  It is amazing how that simple word can make someone's day!!   Everyone I said Hi to, said Hi back to me and smiled too!!  I have a very big HI to ALL of you!!!  Please take care and think of ways to make the world a better place.  I sincerely believe if we concentrate more on the good instead of the bad, good will prevail!!  Please take care everyone and remember YOU ARE LOVED!!!

Voting Day

Today was voting day in the United States.  We are still awaiting the results but at least it wasn't a Presidential election.  It was state and local issues.  I can't encourage enough for everyone to become registered voters and vote.  We are blessed to have that honor.  There are some countries that don't.

Nothing Beats The Feeling Of Being Loved!!!

There is nothing like the feeling of being loved!!!  As I have mentioned before, there are many types of love.  Whatever type of day I am having, if someone tells me they love me, I have instant comfort.  I love when my mom, siblings, friends, children, and the special person in my heart that no one can replace tell me they love me!!!  The greatest love of all is that of God!!!  I have felt His NEVER endiing love on that miraculous May 11, 2012 day and I feel it every day!!!  I am truly blessed to have been chosen to die and come back!!!  He knows I am not afraid to tell people about His NEVER ending love!!!  I can not stress enough how important it is to love one another and forgive those who have hurt you!!!  I know forgiving someone can be hard because I struggled with that before but it CAN be done!!!

Love And Regrets

The reason I am putting love and regrets in the same post is to remind people that we never know when our last second on earth will be.  Life can be very short or it can be a long time... Not everyone gets to come back from dying.  I don't want people to regret not telling someone they love and forgive them!  As I have mentioned in a previous post, there are many different types of love.  There is love for your friends, family, children, pets, and that special someone who will always have a special place in your heart that no one else can replace.  Sure you will find someone else you will let in your heart but they will be in a different place in it.  I truly hope ALL of you will be happy and tell those around you that you love and care about them!  Please take care everyone and lots of blessings to ALL of you!!!

First Snow

We got our first snow last night.  The temperature right now is 32F with wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour.  It is cold!  I reluctantly turned on the furnace for the first time this season.  They are predicting another Polar Vortex for us in January and February.  Last year we had 2 come through.  I hope they are wrong about this one because the temperatures will be below 0F.  I am covered up with 3 blankets and thinking about getting another one.  No, I will stay snuggled under these for now.  lol
I am glad Halloween is over with.  Now for Thanksgiving and Christmas!!  I love them because it is time for families and friends to get together and be happy!!  Please be happy everyone and take care!!  Lots of love and blessings to ALL of you!!!

Unicorn Bailey

Tonight was Trick or Treat.  We had 85 visitors.  I pass out microwaveable popcorn because I figure kids get enough candy.  The kids get all excited about it!!!  I had a few tell their parents they are going to hit up my house every year for popcorn!!!  Everyone please be safe and have fun!!!

The Australian Zoo

Here are some pictures of The Australian Zoo.  I absolutely loved it!!!  The weather was perfect the day we went and it wasn't crowded.  Everyone was so nice!!!

The Australian Zoo has an emergency hospital that any wild animal that is injured or sick can be brought there and they will take care of it.  It is open all the time.
