I saw these in a picture and thought I would try them when the weather got cold enough. At first I tried to use water balloons...not good! As soon as they touched the snow, they popped. lol I have some helium quality balloons so I used those. I put 2 full squirts of food coloring in each balloon and filled them with cold water as much as I could and tied them and set them outside. It took about a week of cold weather for them to freeze. The balloons actually started coming off when they were done. I think they look pretty good for the first time doing it. I absolutely LOVE CHRISTmas and everything it stands for!!!

The temperature is 48F right now and most of the snow is melted. They are pretty while they last. |
