I Will ALWAYS Love You Meg!!!

Today was Meg's graveside service here.  She was married and lived in another state.  They had a Celebration of Life ceremony for her there but I couldn't attend because physically I couldn't since I fell.  Her ashes were brought back here.  Her husband was holding her beautiful urn and I asked him if I could please hold her one last time.  He handed me the urn and I held it so tight and told Meg I will ALWAYS love her!!!  I gently kissed it and handed it back to her husband.  I wanted to keep her with me forever!  I know one day I will see her again!  The pastor gave the sermon.  She was in the Air Force years ago.  The American Legion showed up, the commander gave a very solemn speech and reminded us that she is with God now and not in pain, handed her husband the American Flag, they gave her a 21 gun salute, and 1 of them played "Taps".  It was so overwhelmingly beautiful, I totally lost it.  "Taps" makes me cry every time.  Her husband gently placed her urn in the burial place and surrounded it with rose petals.  They loved each other so very much!!!
Later today, I saw someone I thought I would never see again.  We said "Hi" and my heart felt better.  Telling someone "Hi" can make a person's day!!!  I try to smile, wave, and say "Hi" to someone every day.  Life is too short to hold grudges and be mean.

Hugs don't cost anything and can mean the world to someone!

Laugh and Smile Often, Love ALWAYS!!!
