Remembering

I was watching "Bones", one of my favorite television shows, earlier today and 5 interns were working on identifying sets of bones that had been in the Jeffersonian Institute Medico-Legal Lab.  4 of the 5 had identified numerous sets of bones while the 5th intern was still working on his first set of bones.  They were the bones of a homeless man and the other 4 interns couldn't believe he was "wasting" so much time on the one set of bones.  Soon everyone was helping him to try to identify the set of bones.  He had some broken bones and they found a piece of metal in him.  It was concluded the metal came from a lamp post by the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.  Everyone on "Bones" started telling where and what they were doing that horrible day when terrorists struck the United States.  I started crying because I could remember exactly where I was when it happened.  I was in the chiropractor's office and they had a small television in the waiting area.  I couldn't believe what I was seeing!!!  The bones were identified as a soldier who had served in The Gulf War.  The war had left him mentally unstable because he was rescued and his 3 friends died.  He was standing outside the Pentagon saying his friends' last names and people thought he was crazy because what he was saying didn't make sense to them.  He got the broken bones because after the plane hit the Pentagon, he went inside and saved 3 people's lives by moving large pieces of concrete off of them.  One of the bones he broke was a rib which eventually punctured his lung and killed him 10 days later.  The moral of the story is don't go by what someone looks like on the outside because you can't tell what has happened to them.
Have a very blessed day everyone!!!
