Today I went out of town with my sisters. My oldest sister had 2 dr's appointments. Afterwards, they wanted to go to WalMart for a few items. When we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed a van with a Siberian Husky in it. The temperature was 75 F!!! The poor dog was so hot!!! We searched for the police and sheriff department numbers. I called the police department and he told me it was the sheriff department's jurisdiction and he was transferring me. He transferred me across the COUNTRY to California!!! Out of despair, I called 911 and told the dispatcher about the hot dog. She told me she would get the proper authorities. My sisters went inside the store while I waited on the police. 45 minutes later, the woman who owns the van came out. I told her she should NOT leave her dog in a hot vehicle. She said she was in the store for 5 minutes. I told her to try at least 45 minutes because I was timing her. She said "Fu** you!!!" I told her she shouldn't talk to people like that who are just trying to help and she sped out of the parking lot. I called the dispatcher back and told her the woman had left and she told me she was transferring me to the police. I saw the police car and signaled for her to come to me. I told her what transpired and she said she was going to go look her up because they had the license plate number. I hope she found her.
We later went to a home improvement store that I love shopping in. They had lots of tools on sale and I immensely enjoyed it!!! I found a project I would love to do for my herbs. It is called a Living Wall and it is so cool!!! I won't have to bend over to harvest my plants.
PLEASE remember....Do NOT leave ANY living creature in a hot vehicle!!!
Laugh and Smile Often, Love ALWAYS!!!
